The Via Salina tourist route offers excellent possibilities for walking and cycling tours in the region referred to as the “arc jurassien”, located in the Franche-Comté region in France and the Cantons of Bern, Vaud, Neuchâtel and Jura in Switzerland. Nature and culture meet on this itinerary that runs from the Arc-et-Senans Royal Saltworks to Bern, passing by the saltworks of Salins-les-Bains, the birth-land of the painter Courbet in Ornans and the thermal centres of Yverdon-les-Bains.
