Meet at the Arc-et-Senans Saline Royale, France, for an audio-guided visit of the renowned salt manufacturing process, classified UNESCO World Heritage site, designed by the architect Claude Nicolas LEDOUX. Visit of the permanent and temporary exhibits, of which a museum, unique in Europe, dedicated to the architect Claude Nicolas LEDOUX. After the visit, following a short transfer to Port-Lesney which is the starting point of a short ramble to Salins-les-Bains with a picnic supplied for lunch. The walk follows the former tracing of the brine-duct, called ‘Le Sentier des Gabelous’, that links Salins-les-Bains to Arc-et-Senans. Dinner and overnight in a 3*** Hotel in Salins-les-Bains Spa town.
Breakfast at the hotel. Guided visit in the morning of the Grande Saline de Salins-les-Bains, classified UNESCO World Heritage site. Picnic supplied for lunch. Open afternoon in Salins-les-Bains with a transfer back to Arc-et-Senans in the afternoon.
